I fell in love with this work upon finding myself in a place where I truly believed I needed to make a career change in order to have time for “life.” My first EDGE for Professionals training revealed I was standing in my own way, and that it was not impossible to do my role effectively without putting in endless hours off the clock. Learning to work smarter rather than harder in today’s information overloaded environments has absolutely changed my life and ignited my passion for helping as many professionals as possible to do the same.
I received my Bachelors in Education from the University of Arizona and my Masters in Leadership and Administration from Arizona State University. Prior to Effective Edge, I spent five years in public education as a teacher, mentor, technology coach, and department head and assumed various administrative roles. My background and implementation of learning theories allow me to engage clients in the learning process, while also tailoring the content to address and have relevance to their specific needs and learning styles.
Outside of the office I enjoy running, live music, podcasts, spoiling my German Shepherd, and continuing my quest for Austin’s best queso.
